Tracer Power

February 2023 – Present

Full Stack Developer

While working for Tracer Power I created a bespoke piece of software for the production line using a headless WordPress installation. This allowed managers to view what the operators were working on and how long each job was taking to make better business decisions. The system was built in React and ran on tablets in the production line. I also worked on marketing reports and making SEO improvements to websites and general IT maintenance and support for other colleagues.

Urban River

July 2021 – February 2023

WordPress Developer

While working at Urban River I managed the entire process from initial conversation with the client about the vision for the website all the way through to launching the website. This helped me develop effective communication skills and how to approach and overcome and problems. My main responsibilities at Urban River were;

Cell Pack Solutions

Feb 2015 – July 2021

IT Technician

While working for Cell Pack Solutions I created a bespoke WordPress theme for their online shop from scratch with a team of developers. We also created plugins to add additional functionality to the website to help improve user experience. I pioneered implementing GitHub in the company to help improve efficiency within the department. I also created custom Gutenberg blocks for the company.

While working at the YMCA North Tyneside my main focus was maintaining the computer systems within the company, maintaining the website and creating visual appealing leaflets to be used throughout the company.
